Yep… they’re filming for the new Sex in the City slated to be released next year…. I have heard some possible plots… extramarital affair and possible pregnancy for Mr. Big and Carrie…. the recession is supposed to hit one f the characters but they managed to keep the shoes fabulous…. SO I made the cutest video of shoes to upload only to find out to upload movies costs 60.00 a year…uh no that money can clearlygo towards shoes and nothing gets in between me and my shoes..not even my boyfriend…. anywhoo… with the economy putting a serious crimp in our shopping abilities, I thought we should discuss a few shoe discount websites…. I’ll only offer my opinion on sites I have used myself but you all should feel free to add on about sites you’ve used with good and bad results…. Now I don’t believe in knock-offs… partly because as a lawyer I know that it’s a copyright infringement and partly because I would rather carry a real Nine West than a fake Gucci anyday…

Net-a-porter…. Okay this is the most expensive discount retailer I use but they have great quality and they usually carry shoes in season… so you don’t have to wait until Spring to get a good deal on last Fall’s shoes… They ship quickly and you’ll be sleeping (okay so maybe I’m the only one who does that) in no time

Bluefly… Now Bluefly has some great deals on shoes, clothes, and handbags but they usually are from a previous season… but the prices are great and they carry a lot of designers.. they have a flat shipping rate which I love and you can almost always find a net coupon to use there (I’ll find some and put them in my next post) for ladies who wear larger sizes, Bluefly can be a godsend… They carry a lot of 10s, 11s, and 12s… I have a hard time finding a size 7 in my favorite pairs

Now I love Rue La La… the prices are fabulous… the only bad thing is they choose when they will put particular designers on sale in their boutiques and the boutiques are only open for 72 hours… Rue la la is invite only but if you leave me your email in a comment below I’ll send you an invitation… I recently bought a Kay Unger dress on there for 79.00… yep I said Kay Unger and 79.00 in the same sentence….

So if my mother ever visits this site, she is going to cry about the name… Let me just say that the Urban dictionary defines a shoe whore as a woman who has too many shoes (not possible) or as a person who just loves shoes… and let me just tell you I love shoes !! I’m starting this blog to share that love and to talk with other shoe whores (the second definition, not the first… I refuse to befriend any woman who laments that she has too many shoes :-p)
